Programming languages often rely on mathematical-inspired notation, which not everybody is accustomed to using.
But it is true that not everybody is meant to be a coder. Society needs people who can be policemen, people who can build pipelines, lay roofs, drive ships and airplanes, organize items in shelves at supermarkets, nurse sick people, etc.
