Seriously though, stop. They accepted that unreasonable wage because of the expectation of tips. They also know that we know that is why they are working. So unless you are a jew or a greedy sociopath, you are going to tip because that is how society works when someone provides a personalized service to you.
We can debate the amount of that tip, but we can all agree that they deserve to be compensated for their time and everyone is aware of the compensation model at these establishments.
