>>19377265>Amy nodded along to some parts of Sola's speech and at the conclusion applauded politely with the microphone in her lap. Lifting the mic to her lips she began her response."Ya know if this were promo class they'd call that a 'fine speech', Sola. It's very sweet of you to come out here in front of the entire world and claim that we are equals, the Amy Flame from a year ago would've been jumping up and down on the spot at such a comparison however the Amy Flame who sits before you right now is kinda pissed too, but not for the reasons you might think. Seeing as you brought up the Dojo let's start there. I was trained in the WWA Dojo and while the circumstances surrounding my departure were far from ideal I don’t regret walking away when I did. I tried to come back when the place burned down, I wanted to help with the rebuild because that place was my home too, but I wasn’t welcome, everything was whitewashed, painted over, my presence and everything I did erased, Amy Flame the great shame of the Dojo, washed away. I left and you stayed, lingering like a bad smell, wasting your days doing forward rolls and flat back bumps, seeking the approval of trainers like Mighty Milf who blatantly use you as a stepping stone, sleeping on a fold-out bed in a cupboard. It’s beneath you Sola Fire. I know how good you are, but the way you carry yourself is the reason nobody takes you seriously."
"And yet."
"Despite all that."
"Here we both are, no titles, no accolades, competing for the Intercontinental Championship because the champ decided to take pity on us and toss us a bone on the way out the door... in a match where she doesn't have to directly put any of us over. I have nothing against Onigiri and for many reasons I'd like to get to know her better, but I'm not thrilled at being considered on the same level as someone who doesn't train, doesn't take this seriously and doesn't seem to even show up for work most of the time."
