How putrescent Chinese lying is! It is not just that they are devoid of guilt, revolting though that is...no, there is something else. It is the reveling in untruth that most revolts the sense of the foreigner. The Chinese swirls lies around in its mouth like fine wine, judging when and how to best spit it. It is not even that the Chinese cares about being discovered...their image as a good person is not their concern in this case. Chinese gauge each other’s lies like art collectors, admiring and crooning all formulaic in their INTERIOR VOID at how artful a good liar is. It is considered a mark of intelligence. Just as the narcissist construes the ability to be fooled as a right to fool, the Chinese regards lying as the cream of intellect. They give out subtle hints and sometimes not so subtle; their lies are built on easily recognizable formulae. Why? Are they inept? To some degree; but to some degree, as stark mad as it strikes the ingenue, the liar WANTS TO BE CAUGHT, just as the American sodomite craves punishment. But the Chinese does not want punishment. He wants his “victim” to know, intuitively and subconsciously, that he is being deceived; the victim, subconsciously, acknowledges the other’s skill by succumbing.
