If you like the kind of game tes'es are, then yeah, it's the best one by far. You'll just have to bear through the combat system being more paper-rpg-like, in that you can't fucking hit anything at the start of the game, but it's a problem only in the beggining. Vardenfell is much more interesting a place than both Imperial Province in Oblivion (your usual fantasy look) or Skyrim in Skyrim (your usual ancient vikangs), it's much more fun to explore it, I find and I think that's a big part of the appeal of the series in whole. There are some huge graphic overhaul mods out there if you have a problem with that too. I'm not a big fan of the series, but if I were to choose one of them, I'd certainly go with Morrowind.
