>>21133706>i guess the american flag is just a symbol of national identity and not some weird ass outfit all your ancestors wore 1500 years ago because there were no clothing stores back then, i'm pretty sure if i show you an image with two people on which the man a wears some regular modern casual clothes and the man b wears some weird shirt and some goofy puffy red pants and some tree bark woven shoes and then ask you "which person is american and which person is european" you would have no problem answering thatAmericans don't wear goofy outfits like that, just patriotic T-shirts with American flags on them.
However, if you ever go to Texas that's kind of a different story. They have patriotic stuff all over the place and nearly every store has the word Texas in the name. Even a lot of national domestic beers have something Texas on them just for that state. It's like if Texans didn't see something to remind them that they were in Texas they would forget where they were. And yes, you will see a lot of people wearing cowboy boots and hats everywhere. It's like some of them would feel naked without them.
