Atheism was never that big, people simply turned agnostic. There's going to be a resurgence in religion because humans have a natural desire for it, but it won't be any abrahamic trash but likely something entirely new in the coming age now that all old things have largely been subverted or discarded entirely. Plus it's become generally accepted that christcuckery will destroy your civilization in the long term like it's already done to Rome, Europe, and now America. Islam is growing and about to hit the 4 billion members club and will likely be around for a great deal longer due to not being as heavily cucked and self destructive as christianity but even it is on it's way out in the long term. Frank Herbert probably had the right idea and new religions focusing more on shit like consciousness are going to spring up, as well as cults obsessed with space(Which we've already started seeing since the 80's)
