Most muslim fast because if caught eating they risk being socially shamed or even physically assaulted
they force themselves to not eat then turn into pigs after the iftar, eating more Kcal than they do outside of ramadan,also debauchery x100 after the iftar.
they force themselves to wake up in the middle of the night just to stuff their faces.
This goes against the teaching of our prophet pbuh
