Leitmotifs of Jesus
1. Number of followers 12, 72 or 84
2. Wounded in the side of the abdomen
3. Magical healing blood
4. Right hand man of a God figure
5. Three fold denial or recognition if inverted (the apostle who denied Christ three times)
6. Miraculous birth
7. Festival association i.e. Christmas, where Lethal Weapon and Die Hard are set
8. Breaking seven seals
9. Walking on water
10. Descends into hell and returns
11. Temptation in a high place
12. Descending through clouds
This isn't exhaustive, there's many other things Jesus is associated with. As Kylo Ren, for example, he descends through clouds and wields a fiery cross in his very first scene. Later he is wounded in the side of the abdomen.
Leitmotifs of Azazel
1. War angel, usually depicted as extremely skilled warrior
2. Agent of Chaos. Azazel is the Beast of Revelation who tears down existing structures to pave the way for Samyaza aka Satan
3. Mistaken for a God. Azazel took a human wife and ruled as the first GodKing Nephilim
4. Blinded by the light and
5. Falling into a pit - you can have 4 or 5 together or separate. Azazel was cast into a chasm in the desert and entombed under the rock deprived of both light and God's light
6. Beast From The Sea motif - because he's the Beast from the Sea Azazel will have a nautical motif. He may be introduced in a port. He may be a ship's captain. He may be both - think Jack Sparrow/ Han Solo etc
7. Fake miracle. As the person supposed to be mistaken for the Messiah, he will perform a (fake) miracle. Usually this involves "coming back from the dead" somehow, but usually via trickery rather than actually resurrecting. So our hero might appear to be shot dead, but surprise surprise had a bullet proof vest and the enemy "thinks" he's dead etc.
Again this list isn't exhaustive, in fact it's quite a bit longer because Azazel is often identified with counterparts in other religions and their motifs used too
