Or "water doesn't ever curve! Water ALWAYS seeks its leve." and then you'll show them a picture of a water droplet and they'll switch to "Well it only curves because of surface tension sometimes," and it's like...ok, so it curves when there are other forces at play...like gravity.
But you literally cannot have a flat earth if gravity exists, so their entire world view is completely dependent on gravity not existing. The thing is, I can actually get behind the idea that we live in some kind of malleable realm or something, but they cannot wrap their head around something as simple as gravity when the entire concept of existence itself is way beyond the realm of explainable, so why should gravity be what mind fucks you?
