There was a very interesting exchange in inb4's thread earlier, regarding Qumrun and the Essenes ...a topic I have always been drawn to. I've been thumbing through some volumes in my library, but have yet to find anything that hints at hidden forbidden knowledge, except for Nag Hammadi, for instance.
