You need to view reality as how you view the perspective of your character in a game. No I do not mean this in that reality is a simulation, but I mean you should act with little fear. You should certainly fear things such as death, since your opportunities end here... but 95% of the time this is not the case. When an opportunity for potentially positive change or progress presents itself, especially one that can be executed quickly, you must take it. (And I mean this in that it is a binary decision, one whose results will be the same whether tomorrow or a year from now, not one that can evolve over time.) Forget your doubts. But most of the time people do not do so because they are afraid of a little injury or embarrassment. Time heals all wounds, if something goes wrong, at least you realize early on it would not work instead of waiting around anticipating it would. When we take the perspective of the man staring at the monitor in our more challenging endeavors, life becomes easier. We can catalyze things that would take the normal man months or years to go through, and we can drastically improve our lives and our world.
