A bit unrelated, but before we had internet we'd just go outside and play in fields and forests and cricks or take our bikes and ride around. There was never any fear of pedos or shitskins or pitbulls. And we'd play with all the kids in the entire area when we came across them, even if we hated them. Summers were just seemingly endless days of going outside and having adventures and going home before the sun went down, without any worry.
Kids these days will never know. I almost wish I didn't know.
