Is it possible to prove the existence of an afterlife?
To me, it seems that any afterlife experienced is a byproduct of a death with the brain remained unharmed. It would feel like a short dream. People who die from, say, a shotgun to the head, a fast explosion or a very tall fall will inevitably have their brains destroyed, making any experience impossible.
The question is what happens after that. I am led to believe it's just non existence. There is no afterlife. You just die forever.
I would like to read other opinions, as long as you provide arguments that work within the realm of logic.
