>>11533973basically instead of just drilling flash cards and relying on the workbook exercises for practice i've started trying to use each word from a flash card in a sentence that i speak into google translate. if i don't get the expected results i work on figuring out if i spoke incorrectly, used the wrong words/grammar, google is presenting an alternative but valid interpretation of my sentence, or google is just wrong (and if so why).
kills a lot of birds with one stone to be honest. one of the benefits that makes it the most fun is raising questions about nuance i would never think of just doing workbook problems so i have to research them and it ends up giving me a better understanding of the original concept
