What happened is in a single day, on /pol/, literally HUNDREDS of well made images were spammed and dumped (and yes im aware it supposedly started on /int/, but this was different, this was a fuck ton of images)
It was really artificial and weird....make your own conclusions.
It's a hard blow to /pol/ too.
First let me explain that some flags, like India, have kneejerk reaction memes. Like POO IN LOO. This effectively shuts down India posters. Most don't read what they post they just see the flag and post the kneejerk programmed response.
Now, that's not a huge loss, not many India posters.
USA is the most common poster on /pol/
With the mutt meme, it installs kneejerk reactions to USA flags.
This really breaks /pol/ because it can ruin discussions, USA are so common and to have that sort of programming linked to the flag, it kills threads with people dumping their mutt folders and not reading what USA posters post. Disrupting the whole thread.
