You didn't have to fly to Japan to find an onsen.
Deep in the mountains not too far from Spaghetti Town, nestled away hidden from sight, was a small hot spring that few people knew about. It was a secluded place, a place of sanctuary and calm, a place for people to go when they needed to rest and relax and calm their nerves.
It was exactly what one Duna Sands needed right now.
With drink in hand and a yukata wrapped around her body, the Queen of the Beach slipped outside from the small inn hidden in the mountains to the warm hot spring behind it. She was stressed, still beating herself up from her loss in the first round of the Divine Trials. Her career was at a standstill. She had all the momentum in the world before Priscilla and her trials had been sprung upon her, and now...now she had no clue what to do.
Even with the loser's four-way upcoming, she was at a loss. Even if she won that, then...what? It's not like one of the first-round losers were just going to be able to waltz in and demand a title shot.
She sighed. No reason to think about it. No reason to dwell on it, as hard as it was. Today was a day to relax.
Setting her drink down and slowly slipping out of her yukata, Duna then stepped into the hot spring itself, sinking down into it, letting the water come up to her neck. She closed her eyes and then sighed again.
Yeah. Yeah, this felt good. She needed this. She needed the chance to relax.
