>>19113691I've seen it happen to a friend of mine. He married his childhood sweetheart. After about a decade of marriage, one day he came home from work, and found her in the arms of another guy.
Now it used to be that adultery was a legitimate reason for divorce, and the betraying party was in the wrong. But back in 2006 Guy Verhofstadt changed that law. So when my friend got his divorce, although she betrayed him with another guy, he lost everything. He had to go into what's called "debt counselling" here, which means that although he had a full time job, he could only keep a bare minimum to survive, the bulk of his wage was taken away from him for seven years.
After seeing what happened to him I swore never to get married. I don't even want a relationship anymore, just voluntary celibate life until the sweet release of death. I refuse to even partake in the game in this sick society.
