that makes sense, its a scifi manga that's about fantasy mecha where everyone has the ability to manipulate these ligaments to a certain degree through some sort of magic, which allowed to make tools and even mechas with it. main protagonist doesn't have that ability. someone unearthed an ancient looking golem that no one could understand how to use and their magic doesnt work on it, it looks like a straight up gundam, through some circumstances the main guy eventually ended up in the cockpit and he's the only one who could pilot it.
it was a series on hulu, ITS SO GOOD! because i saw the series i looked for the manga and god damn, the manga is good. its more about troop movement, military stratagems and mecha porn.
