What's actually happening on any liquid ticker is huge financial institutions end up either net long or net short and their big market orders exhaust the ask or bid liquidity in the order book, pushing price up or down creating whatever resulting pattern.
If they force it up or down with huge orders it's because they want to stop out another bank, and literally need them as exit liquidity. All of retail traders together wouldn't be enough liquidity to fill a hundred million dollar order on one 15m candlestick like say on SPY, especially considering retail is trading different tickers at different times.
Whatever coincidences you are experiencing are simply because you're a noob or you're getting tilted like the no news guy.
