He's writing Chose Your Own Adventure stories, so readers had some impact on how the story goes, but he garned such a fantastic fanbase, that at some points of writing Tengu of (Mis)fortune, people were getting so excited with ideas, that they were basically writing stuff for him.
Overall, when he started, he was new to pen and over the course of years, as he progressed with his magnum opus trilogy, it turned from a petty but pretty, comedic shabby-cringy but lovely Touhou fanfiction into an incredible criminal novel, into a damn wholesome and romantic adventure that tied both first and second parts together. It's a heccin' long read, but probably one of my most favorite ones when it comes to light reading, mostly cuz I'm a 2hu fag myself.
Overall, it's not for everybody, but for me, it was one beautiful ride.

It's written in a very heavy slang language, that only gets more and more intense as the story progresses and was read by me mostly because of an odd allurance.. dunno, it's just really funky.
If you want some better ones, ask original Junkoposter - he recommended me a whole lot of them, also some cool Moon Rabbits saga, but my fanfic fewer kinda stopped at that point. Keymaster was really heccin' good though.
