It has nothing to do with the trans epidemic, which was mostly caused by tumblr. Though I do blame Morrowind in a sense for revolutionizing video games, by turning what were essentially toys into whole worlds rendered in 3D and fully explorable in terms of every being able to explore every house, every guard post, every cave, etc., allowing people to fully live their whole lives in real-feeling imaginary places. I don't think that's inherently bad, but god damn are those kinds of games addictive, and they've led to many people's real lives atrophying.
