With the erosion of religious and spirituality in general the last 30-40 years these people who have shut themselves out from Spiritual Transformation, can now only turn to transformation of their body to feel any sort of progress or improvement as a human.
None of these people who modify their skin with implants, piercings, or tattoos, who try to become something new, NONE of them, have any sort of material accomplishments in their lives. They've never invented anything, created anything, saved lives, helped people.
They're all focused inward, see nothing, think spirituality is fake, and so they can only become something better, or so they hope, through modification and transformation of their body.
