Lot's of people possess talent or natural insight that makes it much easier for them to attain a great level of skill or produce great works. And then you have outright prodigies who can casually do things that are extremely difficult for "regular" people to ever be able to accomplish. I specifically recall this one Japanese artist (whose name shamefully eludes me) who could make large, detailed, technically impressive scenes from scratch and on the spot, without any sketching or pre-drawing beforehand. Something that even very experienced artists would struggle to do.
