As always, a well-timed elbow from the calmer, and more calculated Thorn would put a stop to any combinations before the final blow could be struck, or an attempt to finish was made in earnest. There is no excuse for this loss; MADDO was emotional and sloppy.
Finally, the simplest submission hold one could imagine is locked in by Jade Thorn: a sleeper hold. A follow up leg lace and MADDOTAKO feels her world go blank, the lights inside left on just long enough to feel one more elbow across her chest. Before she is down and out for good, her final thoughts welcoming the darkness which is to come.
This excursion has been an abject failure. Was the competition in Spaghetti Town simply that much stronger than GJPW? Not for the Kade sisters. Romero and Omega didn't seem to struggle like this. BISHAMONTA was a star here, early. Foster and DiVanna, though not from GJPW, are champions.
MADDOTAKO needs help. And she knows the woman to give it to her.
