I was in a store in France when a man stepped on my foot as hard as he could as we passed each other. I couldn't even say a word of protest in French because it happened so suddenly, so the man left the store without apologizing.
I became friends with a white guy in a foreign country and we got into a conversation about what I would like to be if I were born again, and when I said "I'd like to be Japanese again", he said "It's between you and me, so be honest".
Here I would like to be honest with all the commenters. I want to be born Japanese as many times as I can.
I was discriminated by white people in rural Australia 20 years ago. I was proud to be Japanese and finally got into a fistfight with the white guy, the police came and the white guy ran away. I was rushed to the hospital. Discrimination is based on the balance of power, and I believe that if people understand that they will be hurt if they do it, discrimination will disappear.
I remember the movie "Barbie," and I remember One Ok's Taka was also very angry. One ok is also active in the U.S., and I think they have every right to be angry. Japan has been done terrible things, and even now there are many situations where people are maliciously or intentionally hurtful to remind us again. As Japanese people, we should be angry. You should be more patriotic. It's such a good country in Japan. Whenever I see unbelievable behavior of people from other countries, I think that Japanese people are a race of people with wonderful hearts.
I think that discrimination is so strong to Japan because they dropped the atomic bombs.
In fact, a prominent white person who said he was glad the us didn't drop the A-bomb on Germany, and it made the news.
They don't usually say what they really think, though.
