There's also a reason why the basement dwelling social outcasts become even WEIRDER when they consume this stuff, and most of the popular anime now-a-days is pretty mind numbing. One counter point is that the Japanese are still pretty based and don't give a shit about diversity quotas or SJWism and if you find a good anime with a good plot you can watch an entire show without a single nigger or a single reference to SJWism.
