Seriously, circumstance and luck. It's one thing to put yourself out there, and try things. That's an important component for sure. But maybe you get lucky one day because somebody with the right connections, resources, availability, or whatever, just happens to cross your path and take a mutual interest. Congratulations. Now you've got your foot in the door and can continue to work your way up and in. However, because of that one success, 99 other guys who were doing the exact same thing, now are still stuck doing the exact same thing, having moved nowhere.
Guess they were just lazy and made poor choices, huh? Didn't pull their bootstraps hard enough. And because of this, they are failures who should just die. Clearly we're just cutting the wheat from the chaff, right? These people clearly don't have any talents or skills, because obviously their lack of jobs indicates so. They're just worthless people and should just die.
Oh, and about all those minorities...
