You aided Lars' brother in giving her some immediate first aid while Ayame sent the Messenger and herself tumbling from the rooftop.
With Lars falling into a nearby skyscraper, you travelled down to the streets with Jun, Lars' brother, and his sister - who was being held hostage and was the reason why they were fighting.
Lars eventually defeated the Arume and you and he parted ways with the others to chase after Ayame.
The fight between her and the Messenger, known to be named Akarui, was intense and you saw the destruction it brought to the surrounding city.
Ayame told you both to stay away and leave her, but the two of you regrouped and decided to attempt to use your Emissary powers.
You knocked yourself out and formed a contract with the strange being that had appeared in your dreams.
After awakening, you went with Lars to try to help Ayame.
However, you both had difficulty activating your powers and Ayame was beaten.
Another strange Messenger showed up, claiming to be Ayame's sister.
She beat you to stop you, but, strangely, she didn't seem to try and kill you.
Lars was beaten by Akarui and then the two Messengers escaped with Ayame.
You returned to the Colorado Resistance base with the rest of your squad.
One night, Lyla somehow pulled you into a dream with her after forcing you to drink some water from her mouth in a rather uncomfortable chain of events.
