For the record, it’s fair enough for a woman to not want to date a man explicitly shorter than average. But filtering anything 5’8 up is laughably retarded when you realize superstar male icons like Zack Effron and Justin Bieber are 5’8. Most American women are like 5’4 (statistically). They are dwarf height compared to the average American man (5’9).
Studies say the average man prefers a height gap of only 2 inches, women prefer a height gap of 10. Large height gaps are very much a gynocentric fetish, just as for example feet are an androcentric fetish. I’m that sense, there is no need for men to subordinate height gap fetish or attribute it some sort of special quality. It’s just an ornamental based sexual fetish.
