yes but honestly at this point I don't even blame them despite being the opposite at least in terms of spending for frivolities, I've been wearing the same clothes for more than 10 years, my home slippers are broken, I collect nothing, have second hand decade old laptop and my gym equipment consists of old fence metal bars, tires, bricks, my only hobby aside from working out is reading and it's 100% pirated shit, going outside it's just not worth it and if I got a job I wouldn't know what to do with the extra money after food and basic bills
