The leaves will naturally start to turn a yellowish colour as it grows from bottom up. This is when you can start trimming and hanging the yellow leaves.
Hang them up to dry out but somwhere shaded with a little breeze, this will stop any mold from happening, but if they dry out too quickly in full sunlight they will dry green which gives the tobacco an awful taste
once the leaves are dried and turned brown in colour then you can begin curing which is a little more difficult but still easy once you know what youre doing.
I use a foam cooler, rigged up with a thermostat and a lightbulb inside. Basically any time the temp drops below 50C in the cooler the light comes on and heats it up.
The leaves simply sit in there in the moit warm temps and ferment over the course of 6+ weeks. The longer the better taste,
