Its a different religion than Christianity or judaism in that they only use the Torah(first 5 Bible books) and consider anything after that bullshit.

This is what happened to original Israelites. They left and forgot where they came from.
Israelites were already leaving in mass in Exodus. Not all of the Israelites ever even went into canaan to establish the physical nation of Israel. Sone of them left to conquer while Moses was still alive.
