In a nutshell, the ancient religion(s) have records that the Earth originally was formed around & locked in the orbit of Saturn. Earth was enveloped in the aura/magnetosphere of Saturn, giving the sky & light a purple colored hue.
Then along came the current Sun (Sol). Saturn & the other planets merged with today's Sun and the entire solar system was re-ordered, some planets possibly ejected and a new one (Venus) being acquired.
The Purple Dawn era was the age of myth & wonder, the time of all of the ancient legends & mythos - the original Golden Age cited in all prehistory stories.
When the Sun came close enough to steal the planets from Saturn, the Earth suffered catastrophic catacylisms and the legendary "Flood" that most cultures remember. Somehow, a small remnant of humanity survived & adapted to the new Solar arrangement enough to reform civilization. But it's nothing like it once was, nowhere near as great.
"The Adam & Eve Story" by Chan Thomas was banned by the CIA for discussing cyclic cataclysm histories (look this up, a heavily redacted/edited/altered version was recently declassified). Immanual Velikovsky's book "Worlds in Collision" is also a parallel version to Saturn Sun Theory aka Saturn Purple Dawn.
Essentially, humanity is a species with amnesia. BUT a few select groups/religions (inner cores of Judaism & The Vatican etc) have records objects knowlege fragments from our true past and choose not to share it with anyone but the very few.
The Babylonian "Star of David" is the shape of the Hexagram at the northern pole of Saturn (when the points are connected with straight lines etc).
