I lived at home until I was 25. Left because friction with my parents became unbearable. I work full time and live with my girlfriend in a slightly below average apartment. I pay for 85% of everything while she spends most of her money on makeup. We are in debt and save nothing month to month and I just work to keep the rent paid and food on the table. I lift and I'm in good shape. This doesn't feel like a life. I have independence and from the outside I am functioning but I have never had less control over my time. I feel like I am stuck in a trap.
