1) Capitalism is a powerful tool.
2) So are circular saws.
3) You don't blindly throw power tools into the air and expect them to solve all your problems for you.
4) Capitalism and Free markets need control and protections, much as power tools do. Wear eye protection. Clamp down your surfaces before cutting. Measure twice, cut once.
You've probably met the guy who doesn't agree with #4 above. He thinks all regulations are burdensome, and he'll get the job done faster without them. For a while, he'll be right. Then one day he chops his hand off and he's mr. slow for the rest of his life. Sometimes these guys go into ego lock and refuse to learn a thing.
When capitalists get reckless, OTHER PEOPLE get hurt. That's why us Other People need to be the judge of when a regulation is burdensome. The saw won't learn a thing from cutting your hand off. We must learn.
