another irl comparison of weight having an effect on combat would be a female lion (which could way between 265-375 pounds) or a couple hunting a cape buffalo (which could weigh between 1100-2000 pounds)
you dont see cheetas or lighter cats hunting cape buffalo because a cape buffalo would be able to handle their relative light weight where as a 375 pound female lion would have high relative potential(in comparison to a 265 pound female lion) of pulling the beast to the ground
