>>20533261Lexi Kade yawns and stretches as she wakes up. “Rise and shine, muscles!” she exclaims, gently shaking the unmoving man laying under the covers beside her, before sitting up and swinging her legs over the side of the mattress.
She laughs. She felt so energised. So full of life. Better than she’s felt in quite some time. “You’re quite a deep sleeper over there aren’t you, love?” She glances back at the man she spent the night with. He doesn’t respond, and lays silently under the covers.
“I guess you’re gonna have one hell of a hangover, aren’t ya?” She leans her head to one side. “Aww mate, you’re really out of it, huh? That hangover is REALLY gonna suck. Not that I can relate. Not a problem I have. Let’s just say I’ve got really good genes.” She laughs, then reaches across toward a nearby drawer. She pauses briefly as she catches a glimpse of herself in the mirror and notices what a mess her hair is. She decides she likes it, and playfully shakes it into even more of a mess, before pulling the drawer open, and withdrawing a necklace with a pentagram pendant.
Using a sharp corner of the pendant, she makes a small cut on her palm, before clutching it tightly. A red gem in the middle of the pendant begins to glow as Lexi’s blood comes into contact with it. Then she closes her eyes, and begins to quietly say a prayer.
“Kaydellia Nymphys, great and eternal Foremother, blessed be your name. Thank you for giving me, my sisters and all of my cousins life. Thank you for blessing us with the means to experience pleasures beyond the human imagination. I swear I will bring my lost and wayward cousins into your light, and teach them the joys of serving your will by being their true selves. Amen.”
