Why doesn't the Old Testament clearly tell that Jesus is the Messiah? Like why is there no talk about you eating his flesh and blood to gain eternal life, or him returning back to life after 3 days etc? Just by Old Testament alone, there is no reason to think why some other future messiah can't accomplish what the book requires him to accomplish. If anything, it says in Zechariah 13 that there is a false prophet who has "wounds in his hands" which he received by his own people
