quite literally so in some cases i believe. i've been listening to the chris broad podcast recently and he had that real estate agent friend on for an episode so they talked about this exact phenomenon. i believe he said it'll often come with a contract that you have to stay in the house for a few years, but the government will sometimes go as far as just giving you the house for the sake of increasing population in the area and saving on upkeep
maybe. couches seem a bit pointless anyway in my opinion. easier to just have 2 or 3 chairs generally
