A lot of americans are developing social skills or consuming entertainment every waking hour and it really hampers their ability to do anything. Because of how automated our lives are and how many services you can call to take care of anything, zoomers have never experienced mechanical curiosity and handiwork. I could lift the hood of my car and name maybe 2 parts while my dad could name the entire function of each part the car and check the oil for me. I think this applies mostly to education though, americans have to be "taught how to learn". isnt that the whole point of school?? why is our education system just memorization, plugging in formulas, repeating back what the teacher says, etc. other countries dont have this problem where they are educated solely on authority, you talk to students from abroad and they can critically think, research, they know the history of the theories behind their math. Its a major culture shock to see how hard working and responsible foreign students are, they have a purpose and they know what a massive sacrifice their parents are making for them. you wouldnt believe how fucking retarded and uncurious american college students are. They unironically believe everything the (mainly progressive dominated) media and culture tells them without being able to reason WHY they would believe it.
If you gave me 40k PER PUPIL the kids would be fit, curious, well read, well behaved, and industrious. Instead we pay that much to schools per pupil and they come out dysgenic looking, illiterate, disrespectful, useless ideological zombies. they watch a video about some stupid woman who doesnt know what a mirror is and instead of learning how it works they check around the room to see if its socially acceptable to not know what a mirror is, and then they all laugh together about how retarded they are.
