In Crete the museum with the biggest collection of Minoan artifacts is near Knossos at Herakleion, and Knossos itself is a great site even through it was badly reconstructed by Evans, Phaistos is very impressive too but luckily it's not full of bad reconstruction ruining the actual ancient structures
