I still stick with the Sri Lankan temple bc the people over at the Zen temple are awful and the other temples are Japanese cults where they want you to chant weird mantras to get your soul saved. We only practice meditation privately but I'd rather stay with foreigners who can tolerate autists like me than italian normies with a condescending attitude. Native buddhists are also more faithful to the religion so they aren't fence sitters on reincarnation and gods. I couldn't attend services yesterday because I had a terrible flu but I go every Sunday as if it were a church.
