I monitor moon phases.
The strangest things happen in and around the days leading up to and out of full and new moons. People's behaviour changes, tension and emotions rises, cravings for red meat, poultry and chocolate, desire for violence and bloodlust happens, libido goes through the roof. Crimes go up. Whenever I feel these things or energywise, I check the phase of the moon.
There are several important dates, deaths, and occurences that line up with moon phases. Esoteric wise, it plays a role in rituals.
I have to say its my favourite heavenly object.
