Apple and Samsung are still able to compete without issue and Google maintains an iron grip over Android, but whenever I need to buy a new phone it's a tossup between the most prominent Android names including the Chinese ones.

Nobody except the Chinks can manufacture cheap EVs. I hear they make pretty competent EVs too though of course you can bet the parts are low quality.
