“[S-sorry, Lexi!]” Fumiko replies quickly. She presses the ice pack against Lexi’s back once again but the redhead brushes her off.
“[It’s fine. I should film my post match response now anyway.]” Lexi rises to her feet and stands ahead of Fumiko, directly in front of the posters of herself on the walls. “[Well, what do you think? How do I look? And how’s my Japanese?]” She asks.
“[Y-you look amazing. And your Japanese is perfect as usual, I’ve never known a foreigner to learn as fast as you did,]” the young lioness replies.
Lexi grins. “[Good. Now keep the camera steady this time, and make sure the posters of me are visible on the video.]”
Fumiko nods, and when she starts filming, Lexi’s demeanour shifts as she takes on a more demure manner of speech and body language.
“[Hello fans!]” Lexi waves toward the camera as she speaks. “[Tonight I finally made my debut in this wonderful company. And I won! I’m so happy and excited! Thank you to everyone who supported me during my time as a young lioness. Your kind words and faith in my ability gave me the motivation to make it here and to prevail.]”
She rests a hand against her chest and smiles. “[I’d also like to thank the new management for the great honour of being chosen to wrestle in the very first match of this company’s new era, the Haribushi-Road era. I will give everything to repay the faith shown in me by your decision to grant me such an opportunity.]”
