>>16781484This is a very important and urgent question. What will we leave behind. Because architecture is made by humans it is of course related to mentality. I once saw an old farm house and over the door was written: "Nicht für mich." Not for me. People built buildings they never saw finished in their lifetime, or that only meant hardship for themselves, but they did it for a higher purpose, God, or their families. With virtues and blieve systems vanishing, the great architecture also vanishes. We have to restore a more noble concept of life in general, if we want to see cathedrals and alike again.
