There was this one girl who moved into my neighborhood sometime when I was in middle school. Had a HUGE crush on her, but never chances to see her (boys and girls never hung out together). She was a few grades under me though, when I was in 8th she was in 5th. Despite having a huge crush on her, never knew how to make the effort to see her. There were a few times when the entire neighborhoods collection of kids would hang out, but rare.
Wouldn't see her again, but a year or two ago, found out from an old friend that she was _my age_. Born the same year. I didn't attend school early or anything, and wondered how there could be such a difference in school grades. Going through memories, realized she was kinda _odd_ compared to the other girls. Kinda wondered if she was autistic or aspergers or something.
