Notice how all beef hot dogs and bologna cost twice as much as regular ones. Cost of raising cattle aside, there is an agenda to make us eat unclean food. Say what you want about eating the bugs, but if I had a plate of tacos al pastor and a plate of tacos de chapulines in front of me, I'd go with the grasshoppers! I suppose the only reason I still eat unclean foods is the tastiness of shellfish, my lack of willpower, and the fact that people always offer me pork when I haven't eaten. Maybe one day I will find the strength when I move out and am the sole cook in my life.
