This was about fighting though and for some reason the gorilla gets thrown into these things because he has terrible teeth and huge strength and speed. But they are not fighters like the Elephant. 99.9% of their aggressive interactions are pantomines. They both use their intelligence to avoid fighting.

A grizzly would retreat from an elephant, but I don't think a tiger can outrun a Kodiak. Kodiaks will run for minutes at a time, something tigers never do. Kodiaks fight for hours at a time, yes it's mostly ceremony fighting, but a bear's ceremony is the largest Tiger's deathmatch.
What a Kodiak would do to another Kodiak about 36 times over 2 hours just to convince him to move off, would kill a Tiger 36 times.
